The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the centrepiece of aviation safety in Europe. Its core competencies include proposing and formulating rules, standards and guidance, certifying aircraft, parts and equipment, as well as overseeing organizations in all aviation domains.

We were honored to welcome EASA’s Executive Director Florian Guillermet alongside the Agency's Chief Institutional Relations Officer Jeremie Teahan and Flight Standards Director Francesco Gaetani, to our R&D and prototyping hub during their visit in Sofia, Bulgaria, by invitation from the Directorate General Civil Aviation Administration of Bulgaria.

Dronanmics Co-Founder and CEO Svilen Rangelov lead a tour of our R&D and prototyping hub where our flagship UAS, the Black Swan is engineered and built.

Leadership and senior officials from both the Bulgarian and the European aviation regulation agencies learnt first-hand about the processes behind the engineering, prototyping, testing and compliance that our teams have implemented to meet and uphold the highest safety standards.

In a dynamic geopolitical and technological environment, Europe has no choice but to strengthen its capabilities in advanced aerospace and unmanned aviation. Dronamics is among a few European companies developing, manufacturing and flying this class of unmanned aircraft, helping build the innovation, industrial capacity and technological sovereignty that our continent needs for the future.

A sincere thank you to Bulgarian Civil Aviation Administration who led the visit, for the opportunity to showcase Bulgarian innovation in aerospace.
